COVID-19 Office Protocols

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, when you receive care, we want it to be both safe and comfortable.

We follow recommendations made by the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control to make sure that our procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ guidelines.

You may see some changes when it is time for you next appointment:

  • Patients are screened in advance of appointment scheduling and in advance of appointment reminders by the front office staff – questions are asked related to Covid-19 symptoms, contacts, and history

  • Patients are asked to remain in their car until called by office staff to come into the office, if this is a problem, arrangements will be made to seat you immediately on arrival

  • Patients are informed when scheduled that they must wear a facial covering or mask when entering and exiting the office, only removed when they are seated in the treatment room; hand sanitizer is available in the reception area

  • Patients must answer the screening questions prior to being seated for treatment, at which time their temperature will be taken

  • The waiting room no longer offers magazines, children's toys and so forth as they have been removed due to inability to properly disinfect

  • Appointments are being managed to allow for social distancing between patients
